1. Identify the faucetFind the model number (often on the faucet body, under the sink, or on the original box). Photograph the faucet and the failing part.
2. Find your proof of purchaseLocate your receipt, order confirmation or invoice. Moen's warranty text requires it with every claim.
3. Call or write to MoenCall 1-800-289-6636. For a written claim, include a description of the defect, proof of purchase, and your name, address and phone number.
4. Describe the defectSay what is failing, for example "cartridge drips when off" or "finish is peeling". Stick to what you can see.
5. Install the part yourself or hire a plumberMoen sends the part. You or your plumber install it, and that labor is on you.
6. Keep the paperworkSave your claim number, the shipping confirmation and the old part until everything works.
