How to Claim a YETI Warranty
A lot of people assume YETI is lifetime. It isn't. Rambler drinkware and hard coolers get 5 years from purchase, and soft coolers and most bags get 3. The good news: approved claims ship back to YETI on a prepaid label.

Step-by-step: how to file
- Check your coverage windowCount from your purchase date: 5 years for Rambler drinkware and hard coolers, 3 years for soft coolers and most bags. The LoadOut is on the 5-year list.
- Photograph the defectGet clear photos of the problem and of the product overall.
- Submit the warranty claim formUse the form on YETI's warranty page. Describe the defect plainly, for example "lid gasket no longer seals".
- Wait for your RMA numberYETI says not to ship anything until you have a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number.
- Ship with YETI's prepaid labelUse the label they send. Paying for your own shipping is not reimbursed.
- Get the replacementYETI replaces the product or part at its discretion, at no charge. Discontinued or limited-edition items get a similar model or color.
Good to know
- YETI sleeping bags have no warranty, and items bought through YETI's RESCUE program aren't covered.
- Scratches and color fading are treated as normal wear, not defects.
What voids the claim
- Punctures, scratches and normal wear and tear
- Natural fading of colors and materials
- Third-party modifications, repairs or replacement parts
- Not using the product as intended or per its care instructions
