How to Claim a Vitamix Warranty
Vitamix's full warranty covers defects and normal wear and tear from household use, for 10 years. Vitamix pays standard shipping both ways and repairs the blender within 30 days of receiving it.

Step-by-step: how to file
- Register if you haven'tRegister at vitamix.com/warranty. It's not required, but it means you won't need a receipt later.
- Call Vitamix Customer ServiceCall 1-800-848-2649 or 1-440-235-4840.
- Get your return authorizationVitamix gives you a return authorization number, shipping instructions and a prepaid pickup label.
- Ship itPack it as instructed. Special shipping requests are at your cost.
- Get it repaired, replaced or refundedVitamix repairs it free. If it can't be repaired, Vitamix replaces it or refunds the full purchase price.
- Inspect it on arrivalReport any problem, including shipping damage, within 48 hours of delivery.
Good to know
- Vitamix lets you state a preference between replacement and refund in writing beforehand.
- Grinding certain herbs and spices can mar the container and wear the blades, and that damage isn't covered.
What voids the claim
- Commercial, rental or resale use
- Cosmetic changes like discoloration or food buildup
- Abuse, misuse, alteration or not following the manual
- Repairs by anyone other than Vitamix or an authorized provider
- Using parts with an unauthorized motor base or container
