How to File a Ryobi Warranty Claim
Ryobi hand tools (tape measures, hammers, shovels) are covered for the usable life of the product for the original buyer. Unlike some brands, Ryobi wants proof of purchase from an authorized retailer, and you pay to ship it in.

Step-by-step: how to file
- Call One World firstCall 1-800-525-2579 during the warranty period and describe the problem. One World Technologies handles Ryobi warranty service.
- Fill in the Warranty Claim FormComplete the form that comes with the warranty document.
- Copy your proof of purchaseInclude a copy, not the original. Keep the original receipt for your records.
- Pack and ship prepaid and insuredMail it to One World Technologies, Inc., Attention: RYOBI Products Service Department, 1428 Pearman Dairy Road, Anderson, SC 29625. Use a street address for your return address; PO boxes aren't accepted.
- Wait for the repair or replacementOne World repairs or replaces the tool, or sends a similar product of equal or greater value if yours is discontinued.
Good to know
- Power tools and batteries are not on the lifetime warranty. Check the manual that came with the tool for its terms.
- If One World decides the warranty doesn't apply, it isn't obligated to pay return shipping.
What voids the claim
- Removed or unreadable serial numbers or markings
- Modifications, tampering or improper repairs
- Improper handling, storage, installation or use
- Unapproved accessories
- Abuse, poor maintenance, normal wear and tear
- Freight damage
